Welcome to Aurora-Christine School of Arts

At Aurora-Christine School of Arts, we’ve built a strong reputation for creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where both students and instructors can grow and shine. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to express themselves and discover their unique talents.

Our programs are designed with Pennsylvania State Standards and Objectives in mind, while also nurturing creativity, curiosity, and confidence. Students explore core subjects such as science, social studies, engineering, reading, and technology, while also enjoying enriching experiences in gymnastics, cooking, and music.

Building Skills for Life

Through hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities, students strengthen essential skills like:

  • Fine motor coordination

  • Sensory development

  • Executive function

  • Hand-eye coordination

We also encourage age-appropriate classroom discussions about current events, safety, and weather—helping students build confidence in their voices and ideas.

Customized Academic Care

Each student begins with a small assessment to identify strengths and areas for growth. From there, we create a personalized action plan that guides their learning journey. This individualized approach allows students to:

  • Build on their existing knowledge

  • Close gaps in understanding

  • Accelerate learning through project-based activities

  • Develop a year-long academic portfolio showcasing progress and creativity

Our Curriculum

Our Arts-Integrated Curriculum blends academics with creativity, offering stimulating lessons that bring learning to life. Students engage in:

  • Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies

  • Music, Visual Arts, and Culinary Arts

  • Lessons aligned with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards and Objectives

By combining academic excellence with artistic expression, we ensure every child has the chance to thrive both in the classroom and beyond.

What makes AC different?

The arts are an integral part of our program, significantly enhancing the overall experience for our students and nurturing their creative abilities. Throughout the academic year, each semester, we make it a priority to introduce an additional enrichment activity that complements our core offerings, which include Art, Cooking, Gymnastics, Music, and Karate. For example, in our Art classes, students might have the opportunity to experiment with new mediums and techniques, allowing them to expand their artistic skills. Similarly, in our Cooking sessions, we could introduce workshops focused on exploring cultural, which would provide students with a broader culinary perspective. This dynamic and adaptable approach not only keeps our curriculum engaging and exciting but also promotes personal growth and a richer appreciation for the various forms of artistic expression.

Our Mission

The Aurora-Christine School of Arts educates preschoolers and first graders, fostering their success through a safe, caring, and exceptional environment. The school inspires and enhances each child’s creative abilities through individualized care and innovative integration of database-development programming into the curriculum.

We offer diverse workshops every Saturday focused on creativity.
